It’s no secret, I love breakfast! My boyfriend always jokes with me and says that the only reason I even ever get out of bed is to eat. Sadly, it’s true. I don’t need an alarm clock. My stomach tells me when it’s time to get up and eat.
I go through different stages of loving certain breakfasts. I’ll have an oatmeal month, 3 cereal months in a row (I’m an addict), I’ll have an egg month, followed by smoothies for consecutive weeks, and now… I want muffins.
Cinnamon Apple Flax Muffins
I. Love. Muffins.
So today, I made some.
I decided to make a muffin that wasn’t all bad for me. I ended up deciding to make Apple Cinnamon Flax Muffins. As unappetizing as “flax” sounds.. You actually don’t notice it and it’s good for you! Check these benefits out!
- High in fiber
- helps you feel full
- keeps you from becoming constipated
- lowers risk of cardiovascular disease
- Helps you reach desired Manganese Levels
- manganese aids the body in metabolizing nutrients and supports energy production
- High in Magnesium
- helps keeps cell membranes healthy
- aids in formation of new bone tissue
I used it here in the muffin recipe, but you can add flax to oatmeal, smoothies, and all kind of things!
Let’s get to the goods. A muffin you can feel good about eating.
The recipe is super easy. So no worries!
Have a happy breakfast!! I know I will! 🙂
If you are anything like me, you’ll probably want eggs too. Go ahead, it’s Saturday 🙂
Thanks for stopping by,
