My entire life I have been searching for my life’s passion. After years of searching I realized that my true passion is interacting with people and encouraging individuals to become the very best version of themselves.
I have always had a love for sports and all things competition related, so naturally I gravitated toward the human sciences in college. After I completed my bachelors degree in Health and Exercise Science at OU, I decided to continue my education in pursuit of a Masters Degree. I completed my Masters of Health and Exercise Science in May of 2015! I am so happy that I decided to continue my education, my masters program provided me with so much knowledge and tons of experience.
In 2012 I became RYT200 (Registered Yoga Teacher 200 hour program) certified and have been teaching yoga ever since. To me yoga is an escape from the stress and hustle of everyday life. Yoga allows me the time to breathe and focus on both my mental and physical health. I highly recommend yoga for all body types. Yoga isn’t about being bendy and doing the splits, yoga is the unity of the mind, breathe, and body. Yoga is for everyone no matter your current fitness level. I would love to help you learn more about the practice of yoga.
After graduating with my bachelors degree in Health and Exercise Science in 2013 I decided to become a certified personal trainer. I am certified through NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association) and have been personal training and small group training since the fall of 2014.
I keep a super busy schedule, but it is well worth it! I love interacting with people and helping them reach their fitness and health goals. I like to think that in some cases I help with a whole lot more than just the weight on the scale. Encouraging and engaging others is my passion and I love my job!
